I’ve designed an Introduction to Power Query Course which will give you a solid grounding in the navigation and User Interface and will give you practical tips that you’ll be able to use immediately.
It’s a half day intensive course that will change your professional life if you are a regular Excel user.
What is covered in the Introduction to Power Query Course?
I’ll cover everything that you need in order to start using Power Query. How you find it, what you can use it for, how you navigate around it.
I’ll show you lots of cool transformations, from simple concepts such as filtering and extracting to more powerful data cleansing tricks. I’ll show you a few ways that you can combine different sources of data.
You will learn transformations that you can only do in Power Query, as well as quicker ways to do everyday tasks in Excel.
We will also talk about good practice, troubleshooting and future proofing.
I use practical real life examples throughout the session, and you will go away with new tools and ideas you can put into immediate use.
Is Power Query for advanced users? Do I need any prior knowledge?
Power Query is not difficult to learn. The initial navigation can be a little confusing, which is why it is helpful to have a structured introduction course like this one.
This Introduction to Power Query assumes no prior knowledge of Excel formulas, although it will be most useful for people who use Excel regularly.
The course was brilliant – incredibly useful and perfectly paced. There were many penny drop moments where we realised something was going to save us so much time…..I could happily have done the full day.
Rachel Smith, Fractional CFO and Finance Director
Highly recommend to FDs/FCs, finance teams and anyone that plays around in excel. I didn’t even know it existed until I spoke to Jess.
